I didn't realise this blog had become a 'let's all point out what an idiot Mars is' type event. WHAT AN IDIOT MARS MUST BE.

This is my review on the teen movie. DON'T GO. It's junk, i couldn't muster up one single out loud laugh, and the cinema was full of eight year old girls (and their mothers) and hoards of teenagers. The teenagers in the cinema are reason enough to give it a miss, in all honesty. There was one funny line... (Call me!... Stalk you...) and we saw that in the ad. AND the people doing the gymnastics weren't even real people, they were computer people, it was like watching the Sims on the big screen. So save your money, put it in your piggy bank for a rainy day.

Shit movie. You have been warned.

Cheers. I'd seen the ad and was trying to work out whether it looked really good or really awful and now I know. It's a pity because gymnastics is intrinsically funny, don't you think?

Haha, you're so right. Especially about the only funny line being in the trailer. Well, the only intentionally funny line. I don't know about you, but I was laughing out loud in the scenes where they were establishing the 'bad' girl character as 'like, so totally anti-establishment'. What with her flagrant disrespect for authority figures, her Ramones t-shirt, and her bitchin' moves on the BMX (oh so cheesily captured in slow-motion), I was practically rolling in the ailes. What a scream!

I think the lame movie was actually trying to point out how stupid the whole 'sport' concept is...but then it went and back flipped and our hero (rebel teen) went and CONFORMED.

But you are right..the movie was funny for the wrong reasons. That Ramones t-shirt took the cake...next thing you know they'll be selling them in kmart (already faded) and everything 13 year old will be wearing on. OH WAIT, that already happened.

It was the Black Flag t-shirt that cemented her coolness and rebellion for me, I mean what else signifies dissing The Man other than wearing the t-shirt of a band that doesn't make so much as a tiny wee appearance on the films soundtrack . . .

Why have we all seen this movie?
